Love a vintage #quilt that looks modern! Barbara Brackman is featuring quilts from the 1939-40 NY World's Fair in her quilt history blog today and this one especially caught my eye

Quilt in full, the center is a vertically strip pieced NY skyline in shades of blue against a horizontally strip pieced sky at sunset. The NY World's Fair logo of a tall triangle and smaller disk is appliquéd over that design. A wide outside border of blue and white checkerboard half-square triangles finishes off the design
