Hello, @itsfoss! Any recommendation for buffered #SoundEffects player (not soundboard)?

All these "simple" audio players have a crippling delay at the start of every file operation and don't repeat the sound on demand, so I've had a struggle finding one player that would be nice to short #SFX.

Extra points if it can handle multiple files open (keep each #SoundEffect in memory for fast play).

I am not sure what a buffered sound effects player is.

The thing is I'm not sure how to call those myself. By "buffered" part I mean that #SoundEffect is preloaded into memory, there is a good indication of when the sound starts and it can be replayed on top of itself. It *sounds* like a #soundboard, but all I really need is a #SFX player for arbitrary files, preferrably loaded in a batch.
