i enjoy remix and mashup culture, so i sort of see it as part of that. people make creative works out of parts others made all the time.
i think that parallel works when it comes to the question of ownership and rights too.
it's a tool; you're being upset at a literal thing. Would you be upset at a loom or a pencil?
Just because generative AI is new and you don't understand it doesn't mean it's somehow not the same thing smh
