Indeed. I have also seen too many reports for posts from aus.social and todon.eu for example not being acted on by the moderators there. They should just remove the "anti-bigotry" rule from their servers if they're not going to talk the walk. ​​

@mima @mazel as far as I'm aware they're just incompetent and it's basically ridiculous to expect good moderation from instances that are big like those (idk about aus.social but I know that kolektiva and todon are massive). I tend to lean more towards incompetence than malice, especially since a moderator from kolektiva did talk with me in private about this. I can understand where they're coming from at least, even if I think they absolutely could do better.
