I enjoyed that piece immensely, though I had to read it twice -- so many characters!

@GeoffreyGevalt thank you! And yes I fill my chapters with lots of people. It challenges me to give them all unique voices. I think the decision to pull it from the book made sense - too much “newness” in the final chapter is like being served a super-rich desert after a huge meal.
