in reply to (moving) APOD • • •The scope of this just amazes me. The sombrero galaxy is ~94,000 light years wide. Even if you could somehow manage to be in a position to see it "up close” (such a relative term here!) you’d be looking across 94,000 years of history all at once. I mean, I suppose we're doing that here as well.
