Sounds like it's also a great argument for closing down (or at least regulating the shit out of) all AI companies and platforms.
"We can't be perfect" is basically capitalist-speak for "We don't give a shit about anything except our profit margins and share prices, no matter who else is harmed by our product." It's exactly why we have the FDA, the EPA, and the SEC, to name just a few agencies born out of exactly this kind of รผber-laissez-fair bullshit.
