Was at the store this morning. All eggs were $8.99 a dozen. There were plenty of them, though,

Got plain, ordinary, large white eggs for my mom $8.49. In my store they start at 5.49 and go up.

First trip out since last Wed. for shopping, small Whole Foods run for Milk, water. Eggs there are still $7.50 for a Half dozen (and thus $15 a dozen with a rationing of that to 1 dozen per customer).

Many other empty shelves in the store, and evidently regional warehouse issues going on with their Warehouse system and re-ordering from such (got this from an employee I know there who is one of the very few long term ones from before the Amazon buyout). I suspect there is a 'subtle rebellion' going on with employees in regards to data entry, scanning inventory etc. as part of the revolt against the Oligarchs.

My local-ish Trader Joe's is selling them for about $4/doz, asks you to buy just one dozen a day. The local Giant: $9/doz. Will have to visit TJ today, as I just ate my last egg.

In the week since my post above I have been to the Trader Joe's here. They have no supply shortage and are back to pre-Bird Flu Pricing for the most part (within 29 cents) and no rationing. Not so for the Whole Foods from what I've been told (we are currently upholding the Boycott as best we can against Whole Foods and Amazon).
