If code is being reviewed for quality and security by a sufficient number of expert eyeballs, a true meritocracy could be realized by accepting code from any race, age, sex, country of origin, or political alignment without the need to reveal any such characteristics.
This is a goal worth building toward, in my opinion. It's very compliant with the principles of the scientific method, isn't it?

2. Code of Conduct: You'll be banned from contributing if we don't like your background.
But then again, whatever's needed to keep the kernel alive. It's just sad it has to be like this.
