It seems 2024 truly is the year of Wayland on the Linux desktop huh? Even Canonical are now planning to have it by default for NVIDIA for Ubuntu 24.10.

I almost remember they did this in Ubuntu 14.x before bailing out? 10 years is a long time lol

I really wonder how that's going to go... Can't even get basic GPU acceleration to work on 24.04 with wayland.
