Canonical developers continue working towards Ubuntu 24.10, the next release of the popular Linux distribution, and thankfully more fixes are coming for the Steam Snap package.

it was fun, until they started #snaps and later ask for "#protection money" if you want security updates of software they let you install for free, but then hold back updates later behind a pay wall. NO THANKS!! #NO_UBUNTU Good times gone. so is #UBUNTU

My experience with Steam on Ubuntu was awful, that is until I completely removed the snap and install the official Steam client... I'm never going to give this snap another chance until Valve is involved in it
