it surprises if LT bans such cameras, as many are on sale in the UK to put in your garden to watch animals (they cost quite a bit, but there's no restriction on having them).
Although I remember the Sony cameras with "night vision" were voluntarily removed from the market in the late 90s as it was alleged they could see through peoples clothing!
they are not banned in LT, just search for new photo cameras with night vison, they are none, and yes you need just remove one filter from them to see naked people
it seems night vision cams are sold as specialist items for nature watching and security here (altering one to see naked people without consent would be a criminal offence in itself, same as putting up a spy camera in the bathroom/toilet)
hmm, I guess you can say that any device with night vision can be called 'special' 😀 But are you sure it is somehow legally banned to integrate with cameras, and not simply abandoned by mainstream market?
