Linux continues to be above 4% on the desktop
According to the StatCounter, Linux on the desktop has continued to rise and remains above 4%, with this being the healthiest it's ever looked on the desktop.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)

That's what I was going to ask and the weakness of this count even if I'm not sure it changes things drastically. Personally, I consult the Steam site thru a (work shh) Windows, but I play on my Linux PC where I only launch the client.

My laptop I take to game will probably get swapped over as I got it in 2018. With some dork ups (Like my Diablo, SC2, and WoW not working right, when it had been) I've not had to do anything to game on my windows box (which is also the older, not upgraded machine)
I imagine many people feel the same way. I used to use my linux box for productivity and exploration, and win for gaming. Not so much nw
