Need to add mainstream medias role in bamboozling the general public and you have western democracy at its core. Plutocracy. Confuse the people, cause chaos and the status quo is further entrenched.
That's the perfect way for an extremist group to infiltrate a government and build a dictatorship. People must obey the law for this government to work ethically. If not crimes will be committed to cover earlier crimes.
