mangohud allow me to change max FPS for all game anytime.

I choose 24 FPS for most games.
Some games has implemented hack to improve FPS and it cause freeze, for them i try put 30 or 48 to be smooth.

*This does come with some caveats. You have to set the frequency below the high point of the voltage curve. Not easy to find. When you do, your system should be able to go all out 100% and still stay below maximum temperature which has the side effect of making normal gaming actually run cooler and more responsive too. If you set it too high it could overheat (though generally takes Prime95 to do it.) That means less than max boost. For example, my 5600X runs 4.4GHz at only 1.1625V

(As a side note, never accept anything that isn't stable and safe under Prime95 load. You never know if something could happen to cause a CPU to get stuck or something. Infinite loops, etc.)

Feral's Game Mode sounds useful, I have to try it someday. Some launchers like Lutris automatically enable it when you launch a game.

1. Have a fast PC with a fast GPU
2. Stop any calculation-intensive background processes
3. Install game
4. Play
