Thank you for the link, I had no idea! I only played 7 & 8, and I wanted to wait until the remakes were cheaper, but this is great!

really curious how you got RE5 running. I tried with ProtonGE (8-11) as well as with Proton Experimental and wmp11 via steamtricks and didn't got it to work. ProtonGE gets stuck on launch/steam logo, stock proton doesn't show the video cutscenes.
