in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux 🐧🎮 • • •This is why I'm happy the Steam Deck is a thing. GPUs in particular almost feel like getting scammed buying one and I just kind of want off that ride.
...Fortunately Valve came up with a solution that runs Linux as a cherry on top.
Granted it doesn't replace really high end cards but it's kind of to the point where it makes more sense to rent compute time than to try and buy one.

No thank you. No MSI parts for a looooong time.
And no nVidia on Linux. Not until the OSS drivers are usable.
