Linux updates tease Valve 'Galileo' and 'Sephiroth' - Steam Deck refresh? Or new VR?

Here's something that could be exciting but also could be a whole lot of nothing. So keep expectations firmly in check, but work submitted for Linux kernel 6.6 show something interesting from Valve.

could be both, the new deck and new index should use the same APU.

I've got $1500 ready and waiting for a new headset with eye tracking and foviated rendering. It's distressing that the best consumer vr device is locked in Sony's walled garden right now.

At least one of these is new VR. The fact that they've started working on Linux VR again is a strong indicator.
