would have loved this one about 15 years ago when it was Linux vs Windows XP

But I swear now it's flipped, gamers on Windows be doing this with RGB everything and Linux users just want something functional and bare bones

This is modeling SysV init, sequential startup of dependents. You’d need more hands and feet to do what Upstart and systemd do.
