Developer Mike Blumenkrantz has continued blogging about Linux graphics driver improvements, with a fix from developer Samuel Pitoiset landing to stop the AMD RADV (Vulkan) driver eating up RAM.
I noticed this happening since Dota recently removed OpenGL mode and went all Vulkan, which is my first experience with a Vulkan game. For me it gives slightly better FPS than OpenGL mode but it eats gigabytes of extra RAM even after closing everything. Relieved to hear it's being worked on!
