It's the season to be discounting apparently and Linux hardware vendor System76 just put up some really nice deals if you're in need of a new system.

if I still have a contract in the new year, I may consider one of these. I have their Orynx laptop, which runs VMWare so much faster than my old Dell Win 7 laptop.

I have a System76 Lemu7 (a Clevo rebranded with label) and it gave me freezing and battery problems in general. Intermittent freezing problems still persist.
If there is no quality, discounts don't mean much.
