You can use a lot of external controllers with the Steam Deck but the current system to interact with them isn't great. The Controller Tools plugin could solve some issues.

Does it solve the bizarre issues with some controllers? I have had weird trouble with both a Steam Controller and Switch Pro Controller. Very frustrating, we couldn't use our dock at all as a result.
