When a government attempts to discredit The Hague, it's a sign something has gone terribly wrong in that country. My latest:

Any objection to my taking this over to Xitter ...?

@MyView I'm avoiding twitter these days, but it's OK with me if you want to share there. Thanks for asking.

"For over more than a century, it has been the place where countries gathered in peace conferences and international courts to foster peace through justice, rather than through war and conflict." - Eurocities article on The Hague

Does anyone else find it a bit odd, how many anti-Israel resolutions we see from the UN and other bodies for international responsibility? I know that antisemitism has Nothing to do with that. But still, don't you find it a bit strange?

I've always taken the "gen-" part of genocide to indicate something, like, genetic. If the Israelis are so-ineffectual at wiping out an entire human genome, how come they haven't been wiped out yet in their wars over the past 72+ years?🤨

I'm wondering how many children the US has killed.

2nd panel should be enough for anyone with a conscience but you'll get your undeserved share of full "Yes but" answers nonetheless.

I to am appalled at the slaughter perpetrated by our government in Ukraine. And all they want to do is send more bombs.

Similarly, when a government kills a record number of journalists ( https://cpj.org/2023/12/israel-gaza-war-takes-record-toll-on-journalists/ ), it's a sign that they really, really don't want people to know what they're actually up to.
