The driver release many NVIDIA fans have been waiting on is here today. NVIDIA released the NVIDIA 555.42.02 Beta driver with some necessary upgrades for Wayland support.

Hopefully there's an AUR package soon. I hope this fixes the flickering and frame pacing issues in games on Optimus laptop configurations. The proprietary driver is basically unusable on my laptop. I'm more excited for #NVK which has already made my laptop way more usable than ever before, but it would be nice to see the proprietary driver being a usable alternative rather than a glitchy mess.

I'm free from the flickers. I have nothing I can complain about on Wayland anymore. What am I supposed to blame my skill issues on now?
