I'd have stickers too if you wanted to send me some πŸ‘€ πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ˆ
in reply to Eugen Rochko

this is so cool!! Where'd you get them if you dont mind me asking?
in reply to Eugen Rochko

Mine also got delivered today. What's even more fascinating: I ordered several mugs and stickers on friday at 09:00 AM and they got delivered TODAY at 11 AM. Never received anything quicker 😁

So uh... shipping to the US when? My laptop could use something to spice it up.

I was about to order 4 sheets but the shipping to me costs slightly more than the stickers themselves. I guess I'll wait.

Have to restock them, I haven't even posted a link on Mastodon yet and they're sold out.

Always important to have a change detection service running for the store URL 😬

is there a "subscribe to get notified when back in stock" method? πŸ₯²

In all honestly I wonder how Mastodon operates. To me, it seems like however many plushies you order from wherever you're ordering them from, you should just get more. If a singular purchase makes a profit, isn't more better? Or are there tax reasons not to do this? Or do you never expect to sell this many?

I know it's rich asking this as an outsider, I wouldn't know how much budget there even is for this and maybe you were going off sales numbers from last year. I guess I'd just be interested in knowing why this happened, not because I'm disappointed (I got mine hehe) but because there seems to be people wanting to buy them and you presumably being interested in selling them (unless this would make you lose nonprofit status or something)
in reply to Erik Uden πŸ‘

@ErikUden It's the sticker sheets that got sold out, not the plushies! And they're going to get restocked soon. But to answer your question, producing too many is a risk: There is a large upfront cost and an ongoing storage cost. I try to cautiously base the numbers on past sales, mailing list subscribers, and poll respondents on Mastodon.

oh, I should've looked what this was in reply to πŸ˜‚

That makes sense! Thanks!

in reply to Erik Uden πŸ‘

@ErikUden If we could get the plushies in some physical stores, I think we could start producing them more regularly, because I genuinely believe it's a great toy that can rival any other toy being sold in stores right now. If you have some connections in that area, let me know πŸ˜‰
in reply to Eugen Rochko

have you thought about doing pre-orders and then producing those orders?
in reply to Eugen Rochko

saw your post, went to check the store, told @jan they were there and the mini plushies too and he ordered them before either of us got the mail that the mini plushie were available.

Conclusion: you inadvertently did post about them 😏

in reply to Eugen Rochko

hey there! Are you planning to sell this Mastodon pretty cool stuff in south America, specifically in Brasil?
