Patch 2 for Baldur's Gate 3 coming with 'major performance improvements'

Larian only just released a MASSIVE patch for Baldur's Gate 3, and another is being planned out to come with some "major performance improvements" which sounds exciting - especially for Steam Deck players.

I don’t think it’s specific to BG3 but on my NVIDIA card I was getting big performance drops after playing couple of hours. I downloaded MSI Afterburner and changed the fan profile to kick in at lower temps. Solid 120 FPS at 4k now. Seems like nvidia drivers prefer quietness over performance. Obviously not talking about Deck.

I was concerned enough with the performance that I ended up pre-ordering it for my console. I still have a little lingering regret that I didn't get for my SteamDeck.
