Recently I covered that Kadokawa, the owner of ELDEN RING developer FromSoftware, were potentially being acquired by Sony and now Kadokawa have confirmed there's something going on.

I find myself a bit glad I never bought elden ring or got into those games. Were I a fan and emotionally and financially invested in those series, I would be very unpleased right now.
