It is a very calm and friendly place operating for more than 30 years I guess. Antakalnis is a green district, I like living here - forest is like 5 minutes away 😀
I also live 5 minutes from forest but there isn't as many bars or shops. Rest of town is connected via medium-frequency bus (or car). I love places that are both lively and green and yours seem like high up that scale.
What hurts me the most is when I see a very old place like this has financial problems. Very good example is the oldest cinema in the world. It is located in my hometown and it nearly went bankrupt during covid lockdown.
Oh you live in Poland, so we are neighbors 😀 Antakalnis is one of the best districts in Vilnius, I love living here. Never knew that the oldest cinema is located in Poland !!!
