Fedora threatened with legal action from OBS Studio due to their Flatpak packaging

If there's one thing you can always count on in the Linux world it's that packaging can be a nightmare. The OBS Studio team are not happy with the Fedora folks due to Flatpak problems and threatened legal action.

From a global point of view, either the Fedora team completely revises its process for its homemade flatpaks, or it stops homemade flatpaks and it uses those of Flathub, but in the current state of things it doesn’t serve anyone .

I've used Fedora a bit since Arch became too tedious for my extremely occasionally usage and the one thing that stood out to me as being legit bad was the packaging landscape. Felt like everything I wanted to do required a different repo and the whole process was completely opaque at the UI "package manager" level.

Feels very much a situation based on what suits the devs rather than users. And this seems to be the same!
