"Our recommendation to anyone interested not just in helping #women succeed, but helping society prosper & evolve & driving social & economic progress, is to stop applying sexist criticisms to women & apply useful criticisms to change the behavior of arrogant & overconfident men…who have long led the system & status quo."

Men are much more likely to be brainwashed into acting like a dick, and its honestly tiring and toxic to the man himself, let alone others, society and the environment. Also being too scared to look weak really sux but it takes huge awareness and growth to directly realize any of this to the point that a persons behavior actually changes. I wish more men would wake up and realize this.

have heard the "tone-policing/ action-criticism" so often that it bleeds into my non-work life and has unfortunately affected my self image. Still waiting on apologies from so many people (that i fear i'll never get)

“Women are often told to be more likable — e.g., smile more, show warmth, be more selfless and self-effacing.”

And when we get hit on, we’re told that it’s our fault for sending out mixed messages.

And if we’re serious or keep to ourselves, some men say we’re cold and bitchy. Can’t win 🫤
