What would be really cool, if possible, would be external GPU support. The graphics capabilities of the first one are fine, given the constraints of portable gaming, but how cool would it be to be able to have that extra power when you're at home? An external GPU should also be able to run a VR headset. Though VR on Linux is currently not great (I *really* didn't want to have to go back to dual-booting), I would hope Valve would put more effort into it if the Steam Deck could handle it.

I am so impressed with what they've done with proton. It's so good I haven't bothered installing windows on my newly built desktop. Can't wait to hear more about gen 2.
