I'm not going to say bad things about making Linux gaming better, but it is def not a priority for me. I have a Switch Lite, STEAM, and aisleriot solitaire. I think I'm good, there.

well you probably can support it even if you do go back to Windows.

Didn't feel the need to go back to Windows in years. They are doing a great job!

The last hurdle for me is FFXIV..
Come on! Make it work!!

happily using #Bazzite to game on my desktop https://bazzite.gg/ 👌 SteamOS on my Steam Deck handheld 🤩 Stopped playing the games that require a kernel level anti-cheat and/or Windows ❌

There is no longer a need to go back to Windows for gaming. Every game I play runs perfectly fine under Linux. Only those with anti-cheat software, who are *not* trying to adjust, remain a problem.

Vote with your wallet. And let those game devs know that if they don't support your platform, you won't support them.

Any game that has kernel-level anticheat is an automatic no buy from me. Very soon I will have migrated the last of my data to Proton Drive; and then the SSD with Windows on it will be physically removed from my laptop.

If, for some odd reason, I need to use Windows in future; it will be via VirtualBox. I am at a point where I go out of my way to stay on Linux at all times.

the big mistake from Redmond or Cupertino is about claiming to be the one and only OS distributor. Linux is not about repeating this mistake😳
