Respawn and EA have today released a major update for the popular battle royale shooter Apex Legends, which gives it an anti-cheat upgrade. Sadly it's causing issues for Steam Deck / Linux players.

seems like it could be fixed through a proton update this time, so hopefully it won't take too long until it's playable again, the patch notes look great!

That timing could literally not be worse, I was about to play and saw this haha. Guess I'm playing something else until it is fixed 🙁
