Especially for " gaming on #Linux " i would NEVER BUY or pay for a game that i did not tested on my gear under LINUX ! ONLY if a game works flawlessly i will pay/buy the whole thing. So free #gaming #demos or #free #weekends on #steam is a good way for #developers and #gamestudios to make some more bucks.

How is that a bad thing? Every single person that plays your demo is exposed to a very compelling advertisement for the full game

I never checked it and I don't have anything released on Steam yet, but if Demos will also require a separate upfront fee, like each game you want to sell does.
