2K Launcher is finally no more - that's at least one publisher making things better for gamers

2K Games have officially nuked the 2K Launcher from orbit, finally removing it from their games across both Steam and Epic.

It's also good to see it's a retroactive move where they fix old games too and not like GFWL garbage that just ceased to function with no fixes for the games from its developers. Community had to hack those games to make them work again.

Awesome, now I’ll consider buying those games.

I never understood why you need a launcher on top of Steam/Epic. All the functionality the launcher provides can be bundled up into an SDK and implemented inside the game 🤷‍♂️
