Formerly named Agape, GameImage is a way to package up games with either Wine or an Emulator into a portable AppImage that could be useful for the Steam Deck.

If this handles the sort of old games that sorely need a community patch to run acceptably (eg Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines) this could be the start of a big deal for Linux distros in the Steam hardware survey generally.
This looks close to merging "modded PC gaming" with "push cartridge into console and turn on to start playing". I'd love to just start playing Morrowind or Deus Ex with QoL mods and .ini edits like it was Streets of Rage 2 on a Mega Drive.
