Valve doesn't need much to make a Steam Deck 2 a huge success
With the Steam Deck recently having a first anniversary, no doubt many are thinking on what's next โ I certainly am. Valve don't exactly need much to make a Steam Deck 2 a success either.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)

We'd appreciate a revision: better battery (+$30, +30g), better screen (+$50) - no problem, sure. Is it essential to be successful? meh
But to launch brand new version (new CPU) a year after release! oh man, how do devs would be able to take #SteamDeck seriously after this move?
I bet games would run better after a year if Valve DOESN'T upgrade APU! since devs would be able to target it better

The case could be better, I get some creaking sounds from the triggers and shoulder buttons so the plastic is clearly not very durable.
More ports and bigger storage. Honestly, the SD card works pretty well, too.
Release it at a slightly higher price and discount the old Deck. Keep selling both for different customer segments.
