I built a laptop shelf/arm from salvaged bits and pieces.

It can go up and down, and slides forward about 15cm if required.

The main pole from that back.
Top of tray has a mousemat for antislip and laptop base protection. And a wooden lip at the leading edge.
Underneath is a T-slot aluminium bar used as a sliding rail.

This is acomputer that my friend found somewhere; only has 640 KB of ram, and it runs microsoft DOS 6.22. There were three or so models of this computer, but this one was from 1987
