Immich is being posited by many parties as a way to replace google photos and preserve individual privacy.
This is obvious to the point where calling it 'without explanation' is just insulting.

in reply to It's FOSS • • •Now main.preview.internal.immich.cloud gives me a cert error because the cert is meant only for the new domain ending in .build, not .cloud. The new domain works just fine though.
Anyway, people in the comments are surprisingly unwilling to apply Hanlon's razor for some reason.

in reply to It's FOSS • • •a similar thing happens to #YunoHost instances too. Google looks at all the similar-looking login screens and thinks "landing page looks like other landing page, so it must be a phishing scam"
The worst part is that #Firefox uses this same "safe browsing" list as well
I wouldn't be surprised if it starts happening to instances of popular #Fediverse software too, although those have the advantage that their landing pages tend to be quite a bit more customised
