@crc I only ever tried the lisp environment on palm pilot. Forth wasn't even on my radar back then.

It's a fun way to do character input, I wonder how fast one can get. I'd love to implement ligatures at one point.

I implemented Markov Chain Monte Carlo and other small programs in a Matlab-like language for Palm Pilot using Graffiti, and I don't remember being held back by the input method.

my favourite use of Graffiti was in Z machine based text games, on Palm III -- it felt just right not to type but to write with the stylus, it fits perfectly into the book/diary logic of text games
