In the latest Beta available for Desktop Steam and Steam Deck, Valve put in a new feature to help you transferring games.

Oh, that's great. Copying manually with SFTP or whatever is a pain. Especially when you try to install the game afterward and it tells you you don't have enough space. The game's already on there! I don't need any more space!

fantastic feature, and long overdue! I've been manually copying games from my desktop PC (with 3TB of storage) to the Deck (256GB + 512GB microSD) but it's clunky and usually requires at least a small download. I'm hoping this will be faster and only require a single click to copy everything.

Oh nice! I scp only once a game from my PC to the Deck: Skyrim, because it was a pain to mod it and didnโ€˜t want it to do it again just to play my savegame
