Well Mastodon, several kind folks here recommended ‘The Ministry for the Future’ when I asked for great #books to get lost in. So I have taken your advice.

That is such a good one! (There's also his "New York 2140," which to me was kind of a companion piece)

I'll be interested to read what you think of it. I found Nick Fuller Googins' "The Great Transition" https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/34a5e2c8-fd33-4ba6-b872-9ba98dea13fc an interesting compare-and-contrast.

Reading it right now (64%). Surprised how positive it develops, yet not naive. Made me learn more about solarpunk and hopepunk as literary styles and worldviews.
