one thing I'm always challenged with is: The "one click remote desktop" experience in Windows with remote-fx vs possible is anything but depends and unstable. Sunshine is my solution for physical machines, but vms are a challenge really.
In Linux features are all similar or better than on windows. The only reason for me to have a windows os available is Microsoft Excel and some dumb governmental apps running only on windows.
I hate to admit I miss anything, but: simple ALT codes. With KDE, I think I need to hold 3 or 4 keys to bring up a menu, then enter (for example) a letter, then select from a list of characters.
BUT that's a very small price to pay for all the good I gained and bad I lost by making the switch.
it would be nice to see gaming support for games with windows kernel level anti cheat, however this is not a big issue for me. Besides this I so not miss a damn thing! Never going back to Microsoft again
the one thing I miss is good PDF editor like adobe DC. I have explored GIMP but photoshop has got more polished experience with tools. I’m hopeful things will improve
@itsfoss. Only thing , printer drivers are not being developed as normal course of manufacturers release. I end up converting to pdf , then move to wifes laptop to brint
