good good good. If we want devs to target the Steam Deck specifically it has to have a long lifespan, if not they will simply not worry too much about performance and adopt "it'll perform well on the next version" approach.

Good. The Deck is good hardware for what it is and having a stable target for developers is a good thing. Also, seeing devs push the capabilities of existing hardware rather than just waiting for better hardware is good for everyone.
