It is hard to quantify. However, we use Debian as the vehicle for all that we need. Writing documents, making spreadsheets using LibreOffice.
Playing video using VLC. Playing music using Audacious. Editing photos using Gimp. Editing music using Audacity. Going online using Firefox.
We do, unfortunately, have to use Zoom, but we use the browser, not the s.c. app. I do have to use Outlook and Teams, but again via Firefox.
So, the ecosystem that has sprung up around Linux is what we use.

I made Linux my daily driver. No more Microsoft. Almost done with Apple. I am very productive as a casual end-user and I am not a programmer.

Shout out to #AlmaLinux, it helped me to learn about Docker, minikube, kubernetes and "monsieur" Jenkins👍😎

This might sound weird but Linux helped me with my mental health because I was supposed to go to college this year but because of health problems I had to take a year off, I was feeling down because of my situation and didn't felt like doing anything. I slowly started customizing things & tried to get into WMs to make them look awesome and in doing so made me happy and at the same time, I learned a lot. I spend all day doing that stuff which was fun.
