genuinely curious: why not fedora since it has more up-to-date packages, hence, updated drivers/better performance?

you say snaps are no problem for a normal user, but I couldn't manage to make KeePassXC work with Firefox due to the snap sandboxing. I haven't revisited Ubuntu since so I don't know if this is still a problem, but it was a problem that a normal user could face

Hehe, I'll gladly be wrong on my own PCs then ๐Ÿซฃ Although I will admit that I have recently switched my main laptop to KDE Plasma and I finally do manage to gel with it.

you clearly wanted to get hates but it's a fact that a Rolling Release or a Bleeding Edge are better for gaming than Stable or LTS, I mean, from knowing that Zen is never LTS, it became obvious

In all seriousness though, did anything change between gnome vs KDE gaming performance since valve usef KDE for the steam deck? Does th DE even impact performance?
