The mention of RCS not working should include a disclaimer that only phones with Play Integrity are supported. This means only Android devices with Google Play services and a locked bootloader are compatible. microG only has SafetyNet and not yet Play Integrity, which means RCS is not available on de-Googled and or Phones running a Rom with microG. but the presented app looks great already, maybe will RCS support come some time if this project gains more traction.
