Minecraft is getting a graphics overhaul with the Vibrant Visuals update

Minecraft Live has been and gone again and this time there was some pretty big news. Vibrant Visuals was announced as a future major upgrade, which will bring some fancier looking graphics to Minecraft.

Hopefully they've optimized it significantly, because running the latest versions (1.20+) that have the RenderDragon beta lag like hell on my GTX 1650 using the bedrock launcher for Linux if I turn on the deferred lightning.

Weird. It's been a while that I played the game, but if you'd asked me I'd have said: they already have this! 🤷 I was pretty sure they'd already have reflexions and hazy light and stuff. Well... since *now* I'm finally right again. 😅
