It took quite a while for the issues to be figured out but Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) now has improved Steam Deck support.

Finally! I did however manage to play through the whole lot earlier anyway, but used Proton-GE and no multiplayer

@gamingonlinux: Awesome, this was one of the games I was playing on Windows due to poor performance on Linux, but I'll be happy to get Proton to do everything instead.
