PEAK is my current favourite online co-op game to play with a good little crew, and now it fits a lot better on Steam Deck too thanks to updates.

Can recommend - PEAK is a hot little indie collaborative game. No violence, super fun. Your ragtag crew of (they look like) Backyardigans have to get to the top of a mountain. You have some gear, and can find health and special items, but mostly just your wits and teamwork - or hilariously, lack therof.
